We called this guide "Internet Security Software" instead of "Best VPNs" on purpose: our real, active Impact.com partner list gives us exactly one dedicated VPN (NordVPN), plus an antivirus/security suite (Bitdefender) and a parental-control tool (Qustodio). Grouping three different kinds of security software under one VPN headline would overstate what we actually have — so instead we're upfront that these are three different jobs, and we tell you which is which below.
One real, active partner we're leaving out for now: Norton. Its Impact.com contract shows as active in our account, but Impact hasn't generated a working tracking link for that campaign yet — rather than publish a broken or invented link, we're waiting until it does.

NordVPN is one of the most widely recognized VPN brands, built around a no-logs network with servers across dozens of countries and its own NordLynx connection protocol. It's the only advertiser in our real Impact.com account that is actually a VPN rather than a broader security suite, so it's the clear pick if a VPN specifically — not antivirus, not parental controls — is what you're after.

If neither a VPN nor an antivirus suite is what you actually need, this is why it's on the list.
